Terms
Clear rules for scoped product work.
These terms apply when you access Turning, submit a request, or use work delivered through the service.
Turning is a product workshop that scopes and delivers discrete requests. By using the site or submitting a request, you confirm that you have authority to share the materials, repository links, credentials, files, brand assets, and instructions you provide. You are responsible for the accuracy of your brief, for reviewing delivered work before production use, and for keeping access to your own systems secure.
You retain ownership of the materials you bring to Turning. You grant Turning the limited rights needed to read, copy, modify, process, and use those materials to scope, build, test, deliver, support, and document the work you request. Unless a written agreement says otherwise, once paid work is delivered, you may use, modify, and commercialize the delivered output for your business. Turning may retain general know-how, reusable ideas, templates, tooling, and non-confidential methods developed while providing the service.
Turning is currently a small, evolving service. Features, pricing, turnaround times, workflows, integrations, and availability may change. We may decline, pause, or cancel a request if the scope is unclear, unlawful, unsafe, abusive, outside our capabilities, or dependent on access we cannot reasonably use. Subscription access does not guarantee acceptance of every request, a specific delivery date, or a particular business result.
The service and all delivered work are provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Turning disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted service, and error-free operation. You are responsible for testing, backups, security review, legal review, regulatory review, and deployment decisions. Turning is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages.
You agree not to misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, submit unlawful or infringing materials, interfere with operation, or ask Turning to violate another party's rights or platform rules. We may suspend access when needed to protect the service, customers, or third parties. These terms are governed by the laws of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, because Jake operates Turning from Chicago. Disputes will be handled in courts located in Illinois unless applicable law requires another forum.
