Privacy
Your work context stays tied to the work.
Turning collects the minimum information needed to scope, build, bill, and support the requests you send us.
When you use Turning, we collect the information you provide directly. That usually includes your name, email address, company or project details, scope inputs, notes, requirements, examples, references, and any repo links, file links, or access instructions you choose to share. If you start or manage a paid subscription, we also receive billing status and payment metadata from our payment processor. We do not need or intentionally collect sensitive personal information unless you place it inside a request.
We use this information to understand your ask, clarify scope, prepare briefs, deliver work, communicate about requests, provide receipts and service messages, maintain account records, prevent abuse, and improve the service. Repo links and technical context are used only to evaluate or complete the work you asked us to handle. You should only share repositories, documents, credentials, or customer data that you are allowed to share with Turning.
We retain request records, correspondence, scope notes, and delivery history for as long as they are useful to operate the service, support repeat work, comply with legal or tax obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain business records. We may keep billing records longer where required for accounting and compliance. If you ask us to delete information, we will make a reasonable effort to remove or anonymize it unless we need to keep it for legal, security, billing, or operational reasons.
Turning uses third-party processors to run the service. Stripe handles billing and payment processing. Resend sends transactional email such as confirmations, receipts, and request updates. Neon hosts our database infrastructure. These providers process information for us under their own security, privacy, and compliance practices. We may also use standard infrastructure, logging, and analytics tools to keep the site reliable and secure.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information when needed to provide the service, comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate misuse, complete a business transfer, or work with contractors who help deliver your request. We use practical administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet service can promise perfect security. For privacy questions or requests, contact jake@jjhdigital.com.
Customer control
You can choose what project context to send, remove access to repo links you control, and ask us to update, export, or delete account information associated with your email address.
